Bianca has joined our CDEV team as an employment specialist at CCSF and will be helping us work with employers, manage job postings and provide support to those offering jobs and internships for individuals working with children or youth in San Francisco. She also will be assisting our students in preparing resumes, completing job applications and developing job search skills. Make, Create & Innovate, at the Change Makers Conference for Teachers and Future Teachers!
Calling teachers and future teachers of all ages! Join us for this one-day mini-conference to engage in maker activities that engage students in the creation of knowledge through interaction with real-world materials, experimentation and teamwork! This will be a fun, engaging day.
Join us on Saturday, June 8th!
Tinker, play and tool up with hands-on activities in the makerspace,
Connect maker principles of play and engagement to teaching all subject matters, and
Have fun mixing and meeting makers and teachers of all experience levels!

City College of San Francisco sponsors monthly Child Development Permit Workshops at San Francisco State University
These workshops are specifically designed to meet the needs of SFSU students and staff and are held at: SFSU, 1600 Holloway Ave., SF, CA 94132, Burk Hall 244- 3:00PM – 4:00PM- Wednesdays – May 8, 2019 – No advance registration is needed. Apply to be a CA Mentor Teacher!
CDEV 105, CRN #53694, will be offered Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, 6:10 to 9:55, for 3 weeks, 6/11 – 6/27. Please register early. This course is a requirement for the top 3 child development permits (option 1) and is one of the minimum eligibility requirements to apply to be a Mentor Teacher for the CA Early Childhood Mentor Program.
Mentor Teacher openings are available at CCSF! Apply by October 1, 2019!
The course covers, methods and principles of supervising adults in early childhood classrooms. Emphasis on the role of the experienced teacher who functions as the supervisor to center staff. Explores the head teacher’s relationship to new teachers while simultaneously addressing the needs of children, parents and other staff.
